This policy explains the Google data connection used by OpenSEO for NiceSEO's website reporting and SEO work.

What OpenSEO reads

With permission from a connected Google account, OpenSEO reads Google Search Console and Google Analytics data for websites whose owners have granted access. This can include website and property identifiers, search queries, clicks, impressions, rankings, and Analytics traffic and performance reports.

These Google connections are read-only. They do not let OpenSEO change your Search Console properties or Analytics settings. We store the connection credentials needed to keep reading the reports you authorize.

How we use the data

We use this data to provide website reporting, understand search and traffic performance, and identify SEO work for authorized sites. NiceSEO staff and the services used to run OpenSEO may process it to deliver that work.

We never sell your data. This policy does not authorize access to sites whose owners have not granted access.

How to revoke access

Visit your Google Account's third-party connections, select OpenSEO, and remove its access. This stops future Google data reads through that connection. A website owner can also remove the connected account's access in Search Console or Analytics.

Revoking access does not automatically delete reports already collected. To request deletion of stored connection credentials or collected data, contact us and identify the account or website involved.
